London...

Hi all, hectic day in London! I started early with a gym session at Fitness First. I always make sure I find time to work out wherever I am and whatever I am doing, and that includes holidays. Fitness and immac-ness is a lifestyle and so I need to make time to ensure I keep the bod in check wherever I am... This morning I concentrated on bi's tri's and back, areas not to be overlooked, especially as we get towards summer and bikinis/open back dresses, etc. Speaking of the weather, Matt sent me pics from back home and they have had thunder and lightning and storms like we've never seen! Being British myself I feel no love loss at all missing the deluge so I am quite happy that Mother Nature waited until I was out of the country to send rain that way. Workout done, then I went straight to HM Passport Office for my appointment... surly security guard telling me I am "5 or 6 minutes early" followed by thirty minutes in the "great British queue", a couple of passport photos later, sign, sign, stamp and I am told to come back in four hours' time to pick up my new passport. In all it was about an hour of my life that I will never get back, but if you need a new passport quick-smart, an appointment and personal visit to our great officials at HM Passport Office is the way to solve the problem... So...now that the chore for my trip is done... Onto the more fabulous parts.

Around noon and I've headed in a cab over to Sloane Street and into Tom Ford. Ordered my man a beautiful blue suit for our wedding later this year... He is going to look very nice in that piece, perfectly cut and razor sharp. Once I'm done with Tom, then over the road into Gucci (where until 2006 Tom Ford was the creative director) and saw an amazing wallet (new collection), that I have to have. This spring (like the LA sunrise collection, which I can highly recommend for looking totally immac at your spring events) light, breezy and early morning colours like Rose Quartz, Peach Echo and Serenity are the "must haves" so I'm looking to get all over shoes, bags and hit those colours to get right on point. Dodged a few Sloane-rangers and in a black cab to Selfridges... my personal favourite London department store. Heaven for the committed shopper... Six hallowed floors of shopper's utopia!!!
